MMM… and it’s on the blog! I hope you’ll ChoosePleasure by treating yourself to something delicious too. So if you wrote yourself a love letter in the form of food, what would it be? Ad

Brock's favorite sandwich from our local Vietnamese restaurant is a spicy tofu banh mi with EXTRA sriracha. 👹(They've even memorized his order!) I've recreated the banh mi at home for a fun holiday dinner party and paired it with a fancy golden milk concoction of creamy milk, fresh turmeric juice and honey). Ad FoodLovesMilk Spicy Tofu Banh Mi 1 block firm tofu, drained 2 tbsp chili oil 2 tsp red pepper flakes 2 tbsp sambal salt and pepper 4 mini french baguettes sriracha mayo mint basil cilantro daikon and carrot pickles cucumber sliced jalapeno Directions: Cut tofu into 1/4" slices. Season with chili oil, pepper flakes, sambal, and salt and pepper. Pre-heat pan to medium heat. Add canola oil. Pan fry tofu until crispy, flipping once. Assemble Sandwiches. Slice each baguette in half lengthwise. Toast bread. Spead sriracha mayo on bread and layer tofu, herbs, pickles, cucumber and jalapeno. Golden Turmeric Milk 1 c milk 2 tbsp turmeric juice t tbsp honey Directions: In a small pan, heat milk over medium heat and add honey and turmeric. Chill and serve.
