Life as an Ectomorph: These photos are 3 years apart. The photo on the left was taken a little over a year after I started lifting weights. (I thought I was ripped!) The photo on the right was taken a few weeks ago. Ectomorphs gain muscle slowly and lose weight quickly, which is extremely frustrating when you are consistently trying to build muscle mass. I used to get SO down on myself because I couldn't build muscle as quickly as other women. While I may not be as buff as I'd like to be, I can lift a lot heavier than you might think and I am proud to have built every fiber of muscle in my body. No good genetics over here 🀚 Just hard work and a ton of food. πŸ˜‰
