Smashing it in the gym for an hour a few times a week is amazing - as long as you don't sit on your 🍑 the rest of time. I think of it like this: those gym sessions are when you're fine tuning. But all those other choices - walking instead of uber-ing, eating your veg and whole grains and fish, getting lots of sleep, dealing with stress - THAT'S the bread and butter. Those are the things that'll keep you feeling good long term. So by all means get after it in the gym 💪🏽 but remember it's one small piece of the pie.

That might sound strange.. let me explain. • Giving someone a workout to do is a waste of time if they can't execute it properly. A workout is only as good as you perform it. • Exercise form is a tough skill to master, it's different for every person and takes practice. • If you don't know how to train properly then the workout isn't worth that paper it's written on.✍🏻Something as simple as 3 sets of bicep curls can leave one person feeling 'refreshed and ready for the day' and leave another person on the floor with trembling arms. Appropriate weight selection, sticking to rest periods, being able to squeeze your muscles hard, knowing how and when to extend a set - all contribute to getting the most out of a workout. • If your trainer give you a workout to go away and do make sure they put you through it first so you know what it should look and feel like💪🏼👀
